Jacob George – Myotherapist

Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy)
Bachelor of Teaching
Bachelor of Arts
First Aid Level 2

Jacob comes to Myotherapy from an education background. After a rewarding career in primary and secondary teaching, in 2016 he embarked on a Myotherapy degree at Endeavour College Melbourne, training for three years in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.

Having admired the hands on work of myotherapists for a long time, he particularly enjoys how treatment can also be a real collaborative problem solving effort between the therapist and client. Jacob loves seeing clients get results from Myotherapy and leave with more confidence and understanding about how they can maintain their best health. Myotherapy turned out to be a great way to use his communication skills and caring nature in a one-on-one setting.

Jacob is excited to be joining the fantastic team at Bendigo Myotherapy, and is looking forward to some of his professional development goals in the areas of advanced dry needling, and headache management.

He enjoys outdoor work and practical crafts on the farm. Jacob grew up in Castlemaine and lives with his wife and two children on a hobby orchard in beautiful Harcourt.
